Once again we are in the heart of race season and we are off to a good start. The season only gets better and the fields get harder as everyone gets into racing shape and really start to mix it up out there. Here is a short compilation of a few of the earlier races in Michigan.

First we have the Brighton Stage Race which was a new platform for me. There was a time trial, a short track and a cross country race. Three races in two days. It was quite the experience to say the least. I find that mountain bikers are a good breed. Met some great people that weekend and was able to race them too.

The other race in the video is the Hanson Hill cross country race. Great track, but man was it wet.  It rained all day and was like a giant oil slick back there.  No, BP wasn’t involved in this one. This one was all mother nature fury.  As muddy and crappy as it was out, I had a great race and my best finish ever. Maybe I like rain. Who knew?
